This quote could’ve been said by Snoopy too. It’s about this human tendency to worry too much about what others think of us. It’s instictual – we want to be liked because we need each other. We’re a social creature. When we know we are liked, our nervous system calms because we then feel safe. But if we focus too much on pleasing others and being what we think they want us to be, we end up hurting ourselves. We live in a constrained box of our own construction. So BE YOURSELF!
