Low Self-Esteem
"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." - Anais Nin
We humans tend to develop very negative minds, largely because cultures mostly raise children through negative reinforcement. By the time we become adults, many of us have strongly ingrained “negative tapes” playing over and over, which can leave us with insecurities and low self-esteem. These “tapes” are the neural grooves that are involved in almost every feeling, sensation, and thought we experience.
The good news is that we can change these patterns. With vigilance and commitment, it’s possible to consciously shift your mind patterns. It takes courage, because it means stepping into uncomfortable places within yourself—but those places are where real growth happens.
In our work together, I’ll teach you tools that help you cultivate self-compassion, replace those negative tapes with more positive ones, and experience greater confidence and success in how you engage with the world.
